The statistics speak for themselves. Sexual abuse victims are 13 times more likely to abuse alcohol and 26 times more likely to abuse drugs than those who have not been sexually abused. Recent studies indicate that the overwhelming majority of women in drug treatment programs indicated they experienced physical or sexual trauma, most before the age of 18. More

Say It, Survivor Workshop

As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, if your story remains untold because you are mired in shame it will play out in your life over and over again.  It will be told in the form of depression, addiction, eating disorders, low self-esteem, toxic relationships, perfectionism and other self-destructive behaviors.  In order to truly heal from the trauma of sexual abuse, you need to tell your story on your terms. More
